Why Reagan, is that an artsy picture of the night sky and the beautiful stars?
No, no it is not. It is the underside of my roof, which I can see because there is still an eight foot hole in my ceiling.
This is what my living room currently looks like.
“But Reagan,” you say, “didn’t your ceiling cave in more than a week ago?”
And I will say “Yes, yes it did, but the roofers showed up only yesterday and decided to start by replacing the undamaged portions of roof.”
And then you will say “But that doesn’t make any sense! What would happen if it were to rain before they got to the damaged section?”
And I will answer “No, it doesn’t make any sense, and this, that you see here before you is what would happen if it rained before they got to the damaged section.”
Leopold wonders what this thing that’s interrupting dad time is.
I had (as I’ve had pretty consistently for just about the last year now) a wonderful, fairly relaxing weekend in Memphis with Ti. I arrived home to this.
During a very bad storm in April some shingles were blown off and the roof began to leak. The complex put up a tarp as a stopgap and, I was led to believe, proceeded to work on repairing the roof.
This past week it rained and the roof leaked again. I called on Monday and Wednesday and was told they would be (finally!) re-shingling the roof. Too late, however, for my ceiling.
Fortunately, it seems that everything is ok except for the mess. The last picture shows my current feelings towards this place.
Every fucking day

I am only posting this because Reagan says it’s “too gross to post”. It’s not that gross…. I think he’s afraid people will find out about us making out all the time.
