Gratuitous Paragraph About Yourself Wednesday
I’ve just turned 30 years old, and I’ve just finished my Ph.D. I’ve been looking for a job for the last 4 months, and I’m pretty sure I’ve found one. Two, actually, but like everything else in life, it’s complicated. For the first time in about six years I have free time that I have no reason to feel guilty about, and I think I should be using it to do something interesting or creative. Instead I’ve been playing Modern Warfare 2 and smoking 50% more cigarettes, because I’ve been so keyed up waiting for the formal offer from the job I want to come through.
