SouthCoastToday.com: Man admits attacking Chuck E. Cheese mascot
True story: reagank spent about two years working at Chuck E. Cheese, occasionally playing the rat—er mouse.
I don’t know that he was ever attacked while wearing the suit, though.
(via jamiek)I did work at Chuck E. Cheese for several years, and although I was nearly attacked about 4 times (stories for another day…), none of them were while wearing the suit. I did get kicked a few times, but that’s just par for the course in a mascot suit.
Actually, come to think of it, the worst damage I was every near involving a Chuck E. Cheese suit was when a friend and I accidentally injured a little kid while wearing the suit. My friend was in the suit & I was her escort at a local carnival, she ran over to say “hi!” to a kid, slipped on the wet pavement, and knocked a kid over. That did not go over well with management. Although it pales in comparison to another long-time employee, who was fired for playing Insane Clown Posse very loudly while driving his car in a parade. Classy.
